If your neighbor's dog, or any dog is running loose please call 417-682-3546 while the incident is occurring. Please note we only have an Animal Control Officer on duty Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. If you run into an issue where a dog has bit someone or been aggressive please call in any time immediately after the incident occurred.

Yes we do. The adoption fee is $20 and an adoption agreement will need to be completed as well. We post available dogs on our Facebook page.

Yes, you can have up to six chickens (no roosters) on your property as long as you have been given written consent from any neighbors within 100 feet of your property.

Yes you do. Tags can be purchased at City Hall - the cost for unsterilized pets is $10 per tag and $2 per tag for sterilized pets. Tags are due to be renewed in June of every year.
