Summer Sewer Averaging April Through October

Summer sewer rate averaging will begin in the fourth week of April and show up on your June utility bill. It will continue through the summer, ending the fourth week of October. By your December utility bill you will see  normal sewer rates. 

How this works:  The four winter month's bills for sewer are averaged to give a 'typical' avarge use. During the summer when residents water the yard, fill the pool, and wash the car, that water doesn't go into the sewer system, so averaging prevents residents from paying for sewer service for that water, only paying the 'typical' or averaged amount.

This city policy is set by City Council for resident's benefit.

Summer Passes For Sale At the Pool

Summer pool passes for the Lamar Aquatic Park are on sale at the pool.

The prices have not changed. $150.00 for a family pass, $75.00 for an individual pass.

Options include half-passes and  punch card pass for 8 visits for $30.00.
